- COVENANT OF THE GODDESS
The Covenant of the Goddess is one of the world’s largest and oldest
Wiccan religious organizations, with members in North America, Europe and
Australia. Wicca is the most popular expression of the religious movement
known as Neo-Paganism, reviving ancient Pagan practices and beliefs of pre-Christian
Europe and adapting them to contemporary life. The result is a religion that
is both old and new, both ‘traditional’ and creative.

- THE ANCIENT ONE –
PARANORMAL COMMENTARY & TAROT WITH MICHAEL TEAL
Canadian pagan site of great individuality and community warmth.
- LIFE AWAKENING
Life-Awakening Gemstones & Life-Awakening Herbs, raw & attuned
from Mother Earth! A lively, eccentric straight to the point rant on what
herbs and crystals (and indeed any magickal tools) are for. Seeking upon a
proverbial “path” is no game! Yet, many act as though it is, even
at the depth of what they proclaim to believe, much less putting it into action.
For without action and self-change to one’s very core,
all is for not. Vast and common/normal are the number who “think”,
“feel”, pray, believe, hope and are told they are walking a path;
few are the ones who, “hand-in-hand” with actions and self-change;
truly are walking a path (“The Fool” Martin Boldery).
- VILLAGE OF LOTHLORIEN

territory as it takes in the social changes of the post-mid 1960s psychedelic
era. We are the ones who listen when folk reaches into alternative religion,
folklore, magic, mysticism, surreality and the dark strangeness of the past...
folk music, experimental, folk rock, wyrd folk, pastoral psychedelia, landscape
drones, mountain song, folklore exploration, rural song, traditional folk,
seasonal plays, communal festivals, folk dance, nature liturgy.
- MATIJA
GIMBUTAS
The Gods & Goddesses of Old Europe, 7000 to 3500 B.C.; The Civilisation
of the Goddess; The Language of the Goddess; The Living Goddesses (edited
by Maureen Barlow) “Although she became a world-class expert on the Indo-European
Bronze Age, she began delving into ever-deeper layers of the past, discovering
something no archaeological theory accounted for at the time: thousands of
female figures in art and pottery, and no evidence of warfare prior to Indo-European
influence.”
“Gimbutas discovered evidence strongly suggesting that these peaceful civilizations
worshipped the Earth as a Mother Goddess, with some variation from culture
to culture. In addition, she found almost no evidence of gender oppression
or gender apartheid. Of course, the remaining “classical” archaeologists
(almost all of whom are male) have by and large refuted Gimbutas’ research,
claiming that it is all speculation. Yet it has never occurred to these men
that the archaeology that they have been preaching could also be reduced to
mere speculation”. (Maureen Barlow ©1998-99)

PAGANISM
“If you are irretrievably wedded to the idea of Wicca surviving
from the year dot or to a synthesis of ideas based on the utter truth of the
writings of Dr Margaret Murray, Robert Graves, Scott Cunningham, the Farrars
or Gerald Gardner, then these pages are not for you.” Good grist to
the mill, and a counterbalance to much of the current recycled pulp... still,
I’m rather fond of most of the abovementioned.

Ethics in Old Paganism, The Turning Year’s Festivals, & Traditional Ballads.
- FLAGS, FLAX AND FODDER THE SECRETS OF 1734
REVEALED
Joseph B. Wilson’s excellent site explaining the origins and his creation
of the 1734 Tradition from teachings, customs and inspirations passed on to
him by Sean (hereditary practitioner) Robert Cochrane and Ruth Wynn-Owen.
It is a good indictment of the “intellect worship” and lineage politics so
regrettably prevalent in the contemporary Wiccan/Pagan scene.
- THE
GWYDDON TRADITION
The Gwyddon Tradition is not related nor is it another aspect of Wicca. It
also has connections with other ‘Crafters’ and Family Traditions

The Gwyddon is a Welsh Tradition, one with its essence and roots in the Land
of Wales, the Language and the Culture of the Welsh Nation. For centuries
the Gwyddon have conducted their Communion with the Old Gods of the Brythonic
Celts.
