Mission Statement

The Church of the Ancient Mysteries is a non-profit religious organisation based on the teachings and practices of the Old Religion of Nature, the Craft of the Wise, emphasising the spiritual traditions of Britain and Europe, while non-intrusively honouring those indigenous to the place of practice.

The Work of the Ancient Mysteries awakens our natural participation in Creation - our natural power to create freedom, healing, balance and well-being.

To support this we facilitate Natural Magick & Divinity Training for individuals, families and groups by correspondence, lecture and workshop, and also through Counselling, Healing, Rites of Passage, Blessings, Geomancy, Circle Service, etc.

Through Dedicated Seed-Houses, the Church of the Ancient Mysteries promotes the transformation of ‘congregation’ into Priest/esshood. “Our mission is to teach Teachers and heal Healers. By first moving as Hedgewitches into the “wildstream” of Nature behind human society, awakening our Nature-Intelligence, we can then seed positive evolutionary change into mainstream society through Village-Witchery. Without effective individuals there can be no effective community.
